Week 19

How far along? 19 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 6.2 lbs.
Maternity clothes? Yes. A parent of a child in my class gave me some maternity clothes this past week, and they are awesome!  I'm so thankful!
Stretch marks? No.
Sleep: Sleeping great.  I wake up about 3-4 times each night (and have since I was just 4 weeks pregnant) to go to the bathroom.  I fall right back asleep, thank goodness.  I also have the most bizarre dreams.
Best moment this week:  Feeling the baby move is pretty amazing.  It is so fun.  I think that any day now Nate will be able to feel it too.  I keep making him put his hand on my stomach but he hasn't felt anything yet.
Movement:Yes!  I feel the baby each day which is pretty awesome.
Food cravings: Nothing right now. If I hear someone talk about some type of food I usually want to eat it right away, but I haven't had any cravings on my own yet.
Anything making you queasy or sick: not anymore.
Have you started to show yet: Yes.  Things are getting tighter and tighter and my shirts are getting shorter.  I have used a rubber band to hold my jeans together.  I am sure that this will not last, and I will be purchasing a Belly Band in the near future!
Gender: 7 more days.
Labor Signs: No
Belly Button in or out? In.
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody: Happy!
Looking forward to: getting to find out the gender on October 27th and having our Anatomy Ultrasound on October 23rd to check to make sure baby is growing well and is nice and healthy!

I figured I should show you how HUGE my belly looks with my shirt up in all of it's glory!  I am pretty confident about the way I look and have LOVED being pregnant so far.  It helps having a sweet, sweet husband who tells me so often, "You look really beautiful today."

My friend, Beth Scott, designed our Gender Reveal invitations.  I am obsessed with her work!  She has two precious boys and works very quickly and is always making sure that her clients are satisfied!

Nursery Accessories

I have been trying very hard this week to find some nursery inspiration for a little boy's nursery.  I have found a few rooms that were absolutely adorable.  I am finding that I like soft color pallets with pops of bright colors for either a boy or a girl.

It is just so much fun searching for girl nurseries! Here are some things that I would LOVE to have in the nursery:

1. A Rocking Scooter! (Nate could definitely craft this) 2. Stacking dolls that are made from blocks of wood, paper printouts, and modge podge.  This will happen if it is a boy or a girl! 3. A precious little elephant book holder. I love rooms full of books and you can be sure that LBK will have a room filled to the ceiling with books! 4. "I AM A CHILD OF GOD."  I want this print for either a girl or a boy (different colors for a boy)  5. I know this doesn't belong in a nursery, but how adorable is this highchair! We're not planning on getting a highchair, but if I see a vintage one like this at a yard sale or thrift store, I could paint a fun color I night snag it.  6. Nate is an excellent golfer and I would LOVE a golf cart rocker if we have a little boy.  7. I bought one of these garden planters at a yard sale for $3 this weekend.  Perfect to hold stuffed animal "reading buddies" next to the IKEA book shelves. 8. If LBK is a little girl, I am definitely going to frame some fabric with embroidery rings to add some color to the grey walls.

Nursery Inspiration

I have a feeling, only because most of my friends have had boys in the last few years, that baby Kivett will be  a girl.  That is the only reason that I have to think that.  I have been scouring Pinterest for girly nurseries since Nate and I have been married.  This obsession has increased since we have a little one on the way!  I love the soft, pastel colors I could use for a baby girl.  I have also noticed myself loving bright pops of color.  Like a red rocking horse in a pale yellow room.  Here is what I have come up with so far for rooms that I want to mimic:
